Oh boy

Grooming Report for January 10, 2024

Just got this from Dan at ODOT. 1000 Springs parking lot after last night's storm. About 18" in the parking lot, with probably 2.5ft around the shelter. FYI more snow's on the way. (This should be around ~4ft by Saturday morning) They are working hard to get the roads opened up.
For those venturing up early for the weekend, PLEASE do not park next to the snow bank (lot's edges) until Friday evening. ODOT will try and be up Friday to blow out the lot.
Bring the snorkels! It's gonna be DEEP🤩

Grooming Report for January 9, 2024

NWS Medford: “Another strong winter storm is expected late Friday into Saturday. Snow levels will rise to around 5000 ft with this storm so only the highest passes should expect the worst impacts. However, we are expecting another 1 to 2 FEET of snow in the Cascades. Another round of strong winds will accompany this front, and this combined with heavy snow could lead to white conditions in the mountains. Moderate to heavy rain is expected along the coast and west of the Cascades, and this could lead to some river rises with the Coquille river possibly reaching action or minor flood stage. Stay tuned as details become available.”
