GROOMING REPORT 12/27/24
Cat 22 ran out of Huddleston this afternoon and evening and groomed 30 miles.
Lots of blow down on the county road up to the park and we followed the County Road crew opening the road, looks like they cut about 30 trees and plowed the road.
New snow was almost up to the bottom of the truck door when parked.
Groomed the loop above the park, 1665 to 1660 back to Summit Prairie, ran south to the Summit and back on the 16 all the way to McCoy creek and tied into some of Jay's trail from last week, back to the lower lot and then up the 135 to Huddleston. I dressed up the lot and around the shelter but it was snowing hard and 37° so it's a bit rough still. Filled cattleguards and moved 6 trees or so.
Orange line on map.
Cheers

GROOMING REPORT 12/17/24
Cat 22 ran up the 1665 to Summit Rock, all around Huddleston Snow Park, 135, 207, 169. The lower lot will not be plowed this year but there is plenty of parking at the Y @ Summit Prairie.
Burmed the 16 rd road both east and west at Summit Prairie, (it is burmed at Parish Cabin as well).
There is over 40 inches at the park and more up high, conditions were very good with light snow all day.
There are many hazzards still and with recent restoration logging there are some high stumps that could ruin your day so be aware. The trails will get much better with another pass.
Lots of untouched power up high and we will will groom more after it takes a proper beating ;-)
Could not ask for better early season conditions so get out and enjoy!
Cheers
Dave
